Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Aalap. If you aren't, here's how refunds work.
1. 7-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a paid plan and use fewer than 5 paid reels within the first 7 days, you can request a full refund — no questions asked. Email support@aalap.app from the billing email and we'll process within 5 working days.
2. After 7 days
After the initial 7-day window, all paid charges are non-refundable. You may cancel from your account page at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
3. Annual plans
Annual plans follow the same 7-day window from the first charge. After 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but cancellable for the next billing year.
4. Failed renders
If a reel fails to render due to a fault on our side, the reel does not count towards your monthly quota — it's auto-credited. You don't need to ask.
5. Duplicate / accidental charges
Razorpay sometimes processes the same charge twice due to network retries. We auto-detect these within 24 hours and refund the duplicate. If you spot one before us, email support and we'll prioritise it.
6. How refunds are paid back
Refunds are credited to the original payment method (UPI VPA, card, netbanking account) through Razorpay. Settlement typically takes 3-10 working days depending on your bank.
7. GST adjustment
The refund amount includes the GST originally charged. We issue a credit-note invoice for your records.
8. Disputes
If you believe a refund decision is wrong, escalate to our grievance officer at grievance@aalap.app. Response within 7 working days.
TL;DR: 7 days, < 5 paid reels → full refund. Anything weird → email us, we'll sort it.
